In a recent interview: If the Spurs do win the Finals, McGrady said his tombstone eventually will have something else engraved on it alongside two-time scoring champion.*“I’ll have NBA champion written on it,’’ he said.

That's pretty much it. Nothing more, nothing less. I feel it will make Gary Paytons ring look legit tho. That dude literally followed Shaq to two teams

I love this quote by JVG:

"This is why I understand why great players leave good situations and try to find great situations," Van Gundy said. "Because the media has such an impact on your perception, and they have a tunnel vision for [how] championships equate greatness instead of situations — who you play with, who you play against — hav[ing] a big impact on how much you win"

The right franchise, the right players and luck matter as much as talent and having the will to win.

McGrady will spin the truth in his mind and somehow convince himself that he deserves the ring:

    Oh really?

Tmac remains ring-less. Justice is served.

Considering he's never advanced, and that the Spurs just lost in this game 7, McGrady is...

    0 for X.

X = # of game 7s McGrady has been in.

that's because Tmac is on average teams, he's never been any good teams, it's always his crappy teammates, if he was on a team with good teammates, he'd win like 99 championships

Tracy is done. Has been done.
He needs to retire and just accept he'll be ringless.
Or look desperate and join the Heat for vet. min.

    Number one bites the dust.

Must suck knowing he was so good coaches wouldn't take him out of the game, and now he is so bad coaches won put him in the game.
