I think sign him before the end of next season. Would be competing with too many teams if we wait for next summer. Let him rehab under our watch for a few months, make sure everything is ok. As long as we have McHale, a rotating C rotation, some veteran big guys, and no title aspirations... we need to continuously take these kinds of risks with big men IMO.
Could you stop with all the "Yao pwning" everyone? Oden was a rookie/soph that year, Yao Ming was in his prime. Its this same BS everybody always pulls about Dwight/Yao Ming to justify Yao being the number 1 C in the league. If he was healthy, then yeah Yao would have been number 1 without a doubt. But he wasn't, so DH is the best C.
