This is a trashy article. From now on, thread titles should say who wrote the article if it's from Grantland. I'll probably only read things from Lowe or Simmons.

But, we actually matter now! That's a positive. Just a month ago, so many people in the media wrote us off as non factors. If being the "bad boy" signifies us being factors, then bring it forth!

To be fair it was two incidents on the same player.

The Knicks mention reminds me of this article describing obnoxious pedestrians in terms of NBA players http://www.cracked.com/blog/the-7-worst-types-of-pedestrians-to-get-stuck-walking-behind/

    The '94 Knicks

In the early 90s, the New York Knicks seemed less interested in defense than they were about hurting people. Why jump up to block a shot in the fourth quarter when elbowing that player in the face for the first three quarters yields the same result? I use the '94 Knicks to describe a group of people walking together who seem to know they're about to run you over, and they like it.

Prevention: In the '94 Finals, the Knicks were stopped by interrupting the game with footage of the OJ Simpson car chase. In response, Knick players John Starks and Charles Oakley beat their way through the NBC offices until they got to the top. No one knows what happened, but when they left, everyone was dead and Saved By the Bell: The College Years was canceled. After that, the only thing that slowed the Knicks down was Patrick Ewing's kneecaps. So that brings me to my point: If a wall of people wants to flatten you, pick the biggest one and take him out at the knees. I love it when you can chase a metaphor to a perfect solution.

I thought it was a good analogy. There are tons of similarities between basketball and soccer. Catennacio is am extreme example, but then our offensive philosophy is pretty extreme when you look at charts of where we tend to take (and not take) shots from.

Article is a complement. It's basically saying that the Rockets are a legit threat to the other teams (and their fans). That's why they get so much hate.

Terrible writing, no facts to back up claims.

Horrible article. This writer has zero credibility.

yeah, the team and FO will be pissing off fans and season ticket-holders if we can't even win against Lakers

and if Mavs beat us, there'll be serious repercussions up and down the line-up and coaching staff
