All this controversy, lets see where folks are at when the question is simplified to a one answer grade. For future reference, the team is 23-29 as of the posting of this thread. (Limited poll questions made it so I couldn't list every grade with a +/-)
I give them a C. We’re not going to make the play-in and are trending to probably only win between 33 and 36 games this year. Disappointing considering the potential you saw at the beginning of the season.
B- but trending worse. Significant regression throughout the year after a great start team-wise is tough to see. We'll see how much they keep sliding, if they reach around 35 wins that'll still be a B/B- overall in my book.
I think the record is inflated bc of they played some teams who were hurt. The team is more what we have been seeing since that run. 6-14 last 20 games is more of how they are which can't be higher than a c
Incomplete First 20 Games A Minus Last 10 Games C Minus Veteran signings: B Minus Stone: D+ for obvious reasons during the season Udoka: B
They say incomplete when the season is not complete.....officially..... It is like I grade an official exam paper but without the signings of the Education bureau but for fun.
plans have changed--[a lot of inconsistencies on coaching approach/game planning]...might be because Adam promised the Rockets that they will keep their own pick at top 4 [thus having two lottery picks this season---additional assets for star hunting] booom
After the first hour with 26 votes in, looks like a B- is the median. I will be curious to see if that deviates. Although it shouldn't, a loss or win tonight could skew things. I also think its easier for most to be honest in a poll. You don't have to explain yourself and/or get caught up in someone's trolling.
Its whatever you think the title means. I am not going to try to detail the meaning now that voting has started.
Ok. I'll assume it's vs my original expectations. They'll end up winning more games than I expected and the summer free agents as a whole have panned out better than I thought they would. Ime and the young players are basically what I expected. As with every year, I'm annoyed we don't use our cap space to take on other teams' bad contracts in exchange for picks/assets. B-
Relative to early season expectations it's a B+. Not sure how anyone can be that disappointed. Budding All Star in Sengun, Bari a big step forward in efficiency, Cam Whitmore being a Top 5 player in this draft class, Jalen being a good defender and the new vets performing well. If it wasn't for injuries this would be a .500 team at the minimum.
So far, B- If they finish the season how theyve been playing lately it'll be a d+ or c- If they go on a tear and start ripping off wins and push for a play in or playoff spot itll be an A.
So basically it's Stone's fault he made a team with great potential? Lol. Anybody who doesn't give at least a B is a horrible evaluator that's just the facts. In fact this offseason Stone pretty much scored an A in almost every aspect: Draft: A with Amen and Cam Free Agent: A with FVV, Brooks, Holiday and Unc Green. Bullocks and Landale have sucked but they got signed to unguaranteed deals so it ain't the end of the world. Coach: A+ with Udoka This team when fully healthy is amazing. Injuries hit but that's for next season work.
