    B. Was hoping to bolster the bench this deadline (of course the home run Rondo trade wouldn't have been bad either) but instead we made a low-risk move that *might* upgrade the bench.

Hopefully Hamilton can beat out Garcia for 2nd unit minutes (shouldn't be too hard).

Thank God Morey wasn't as desperate as some posters here who wanted to throw the farm for Rondo.

For now, I think it's a B because I wanted a 3/D wing and a backup center that is not disgruntled. I'll give it an A if Hamilton can be that 3/D guy and Asik plays like he cares.

I look at trades made in respect to what we can get. If there was a perfect guy and Morey skipped over him, I'd be pissed. But if the other team asked for too much? So be it.

FWIW, here are some restrictions about this year's trade deadline that Morey had to work with, which he didn't before.

    1. He can no longer make the current team worse in talent as he did in the past.

    2. If he wants to trade for a player making decent money, $5mi+ like Turner or Deng, Asik or Lin must be included. There are no "expiring salary" on this team of any note.

    3. There are no 3-and-D players available and not pricey. They are too coveted in today's NBA. Look at the number of such players traded this year... ZERO. No team with them will give them up.

    4. For the first time ever in Morey's career, the status quo doesn't look that bad.
