I too laughed out loud that the reporter would insinuate that Jordan would EVER defer to anybody on his team, especially a loud mouth like Shaq. The Curt Shilling thing was interesting. I have heard from more than one reporter than Shilling was/is an *******, but I had never heard anyone claim the bloody sock bit in the WS was totally staged by him.
The write-up about Hewitt is a joke. 1. I've never heard him say "Rock" on court. He quite often shouts "C'mon" to psych himself up, which I will admit can be annoying, but nothing about Rocky. 2. Hewitt vehemently denies that the James Blake incident was racially motivated He has no history of racist gehaviour before or since. 3. This is the one that gets me - Chela hits a ball directly at Hewitt and then spits at him (he also threatened to kill him, but this was omitted from the article) and Hewitt's the bad guy? Chela and the Argentinians were bitter because Hewitt single handedly eliminated them from the Davis Cup. Chela and Coria would probably join Keifer as the three most disliked players on the circuit. 4. Hewitt is immensely popular in Australia.
