    I agree that he's a 4.

Beasley .. I mean, he HAS picked it up lately and he HAS been stuck behind Love.. and like you said playing out of position most of the time.. He DOES play better in extended minutes.

I'm convinced, that once out of Minny, Michael will break out to some degree. It's both a matter of how much and where it shows up in his game.

To me, he's more of a scoring 4.

And I think that length AND defense should be prerequisites for our future PF.

In addition, giving up that 1 messes with our flexibility trying to land bigger fish.

All that said, Beasley's 23. He would just be getting started in this League if he hadn't come out so young. And he's matured of late, ready for a bigger role in another organization. The TWolves need to shed salary.....sounds like a Morey type move here... How much do you think he'd command as a free agent next year?

Gasol and Beasley = a soft frontline without enough D/rebounding.

That's the deal with Beasley. You have to pair him with a shotblocker ...and not DallyBear....someone who can log major minutes.

I thought at once that was a joke. Adelman does not care about Defense that much...... There is a reason why Wesley Johnson is having a PER of 6.
At least Beasley is average around 13-14 PER in a limited role.
    Dude is still young.
Johnson is starter but he plays 18 minutes to the 29 of Beasley or DerrickWill.

Sign a Veteran to coach him with Mchale say The Dream and give him time to become the player he was in College, low risk high reward lets get it done already

I think it is pretty clear for Minnesota.
They have 4 SFs DWill, Beasley,WesJohnson and Webster.
They are going to keep DWill if not a Superstar is coming around.
Nobody wants Johnson and Webster, so the only guy with a reasonable value would be Marcus Beasley.

We should get Mike Tyson to show Morris the ropes.. Might be valuable come play off time if things get chippy. (He already has experience, just needs refinement)

    You kidding me?

    DO WANT!

Low risk move if only a (mid) first round pick.
This guy is very young so he is essentially replacing a pick.
But he is proven talent. The guy is 6' 9" and can play small forward very effectively (at least on offense).
    He's also a decent shooter.

Up to this point it seems as though McHale is solid managing personalities and winning the respect of his players.

    I'm all for it.

Yeah that makes a ton of sense for the Lakers. Take back two expiring contracts and a lame one with three years remaining in exchange for Gasol.

    Hey great idea.

    Is he a SF? *check
Can he create his own shot? *check
Can we go to him in the 4th quarter? *check
Is he young with plenty of upside left? *check

Last year he put up close to 20-5 and still is no where near his ceiling. We should've taken the risk and gone after him when Miami was giving him alway for a 2nd rounder cause they had to make cap space for the big 3. I'd be disappointed again if some other team gets him for a low first round pick and Muray didn't try going after him.

I would do it in a heart beat. It gives us another scoring option.

We've got one - his name is Marcus.

Beasely is never going to put it together. Steer clear.

    I agree with Marcus.
However I think Beasley will get it together.

[rQUOTEr]According to multiple FOX Sports Ohio sources, the Wolves have already spoken with New Jersey, Houston and the L.A. Lakers about Beasley. While both teams are said to still be open to a deal, it appears Beasley’s most likely landing spot, for the time being, is Boston.[/rQUOTEr]
