Got banned from Instagram this weekend without even commenting on anything or liking anything politically incorrect, neither did I approach strangers. It just displayed a vague "deactivated for violating terms" and support doesn't answer, the Facebook group is abysmal.

My wife and I killed our accounts in 2011. I spun one back up a few years ago for business reasons. It's funny how people find you and act like you've been dead when you get back on. I look at it maybe once a month, and it's a complete time-suck. You look up and 30 minutes are gone and you think 'wtf have I been doing?'. I hope this whistleblower thing shakes some trees and people figure out how damaging it is at last, but I doubt it.

Fun Fact: the first time I heard them, and that song in particular, was in the dorms at the Baylor basketball camp, Waco TX, 1988. Good job, Baptists. We have an extended-family page that my mom/brother are on, so any useful info (holidays, gatherings, etc...) that gets posted there I get told about. It's a perfect system. Other than that I have the phone# or email of everyone I want to keep in touch with.
