I realized this semester that GPA is everything. You wont get interviews without a high GPA. Also, ignore your advisors. They're worthless, you need to be on top of things like profs and what classes you need to take yourself. Plan well ahead. Since you're a white American male graduate student, you can only be one of 2 students in the department. I think I've talked to you before.

Don't listen to this guy. Hes a crackhead and a Karl Malone fan. Business has the easiest classes. Im premed and i switched to business to keep my gpa higher for med school. Business....what a joke.
yea, some people say it's actually recommended that you apply to med school with a non-science major...
They like diversity. Non-science majors are "different". You will also have the advantage of possibly getting to major in something easier. Still, you'll have to take a bunch of science courses on top of your other stuff. It also helps to do premed-type activities (science club, volunteering at clinics, etc.).
