We have the same problem with Tmac man, idk what you're talking about except Tmac is older.

Also if we trade for Martin I doubt we'd trade him again so soon.

With the small lineup this year Noce can play the 4 if he really deserves the minutes. but he'd probably be left out of main rotation...so what?

But simple Kmart would be a SG, and we don't have many of those. Chase could start behind Kmart and Battier behind Ariza. Lol the coach would figure the minutes out, you don't pass up on good players because you don't have enough minutes to go around.

Point is, just because Feigan says it's a bad trade for the Rox doesn't make it so.

About 10% of the nation thought Iverson for Billups was a loss for the Nuggs...look at how that turned out...

Except McGrady could walk after this season which some guys fear he would do considering the acceptance at CF.

What was his response to the post about us getting Steve Francis that was overheard on a phone call, several years ago? Did he kill that one, too?

Of course it is about the possibility of a trade. You believe a guy who hears from a friend of an employee that.....or do you listen to Feigan who thought that was bad to happen which has a high probability to not happen.

Yeah, but he's going to have to play soon and someone's minutes will be reduced. That's just how it is.

Yeah we should trade Tmac for a big man...but no one is going to trade a all-star capable big man for Tmac, we'd only get some average player like Dalembert back for him.

There will always be exceptions. The thing is I heard lots of rumors concerning Tmac it has never happened so far.

This isn't about whether I believe it will happen or not.

This is about whether it'd be a bad trade for the Rox. People want Joe Johnson when Kmart does the same thing Johnson does! Like I say,the only problem is his injuries.

Can we agree at least it is not the best bet and it is pretty unlikely to go down at least until he comes back?

    Yes, like I said earlier.

I don't see any trade involving Tmac until he's healthy. No one is going to take that gamble on him until they see what he can do.

Much rather have the cap space and if McGrady does well his trade value goes up near the trade deadline.

    Martin is

    3rd in scoring and
    2nd in 3's in stats

*of course Aaron Brooks is 2nd in TO's at 4.5

Usually no matter what time of the year it is I like to get on RealGM and start working potential trades for the Rockets. I have been trying to figure out what would be a feasible trade involving TMac and have looked at scenarios with every single team in the league. The only one that ever came close to looking like a possibility from the two teams perspectives was with Sacramento where we acquired Kevin Martin and either picks or players. I figured if Sacramento is hemorrhaging enough money this year it might be possible. However, Kevin Martin is injury prone and trying to look at the trade from Morey's perspective it never seemed like a really great idea. Then again I don't know what his analysis is of Martin. I have always figured it would show him as a fluff scorer who truly does not help his team on the court. Overall, I shot the idea down.

What has surprised me the most is that this is the first season in 6 years that I have really not cared to trade any player for any other player in the league. I just want to watch how a bunch of Morey picks can work without a superstar. So far it has been great! No McGrady and No Ming. I think we are developing a team without them. I am actually tired of "Star" players. I want to watch us win without any.

Might as well hold on to him for CAP reasons so we can get Joe Johnson, Bosh, or something like that

KT and Martin sounds a lot better. As far as SAR goes, I'm pretty sure you can't trade retired players, hence Reef not being in any of the trade checkers.

I could have sworn Cat was retired and he was traded.
