Unbelievable there are Rockets fans excited about Martin for TMac. Some of them even consider TMac a headache, but now they want Martin? Except for jumping high, when he's not injured, what else does Martin do well, or what else does he really want to do? Disciplined defensive tasks, controlled offensive assignments, staying calm and not hurting your team on/off the court? What exactly?

Both TMac and Yao are rehabbing after serious injury or troublesome time. I don't oppose trading them both for the right pieces. It could be well-deserved fresh start for both players who worked hard for the team, and the organization. But getting rid of them at all cost, for players like Martin and his contract? Jeez.

I know it's unclear whether they can come back in full strength or ever come back, so it's not possible to trade them with real superstars. But if I am going to get some garbage with over-priced tag, I want to have some quality young players in return as well. Even that, Martin is too disgusting to swallow.

Wanna bet for fun? You win if the trade goes down. I win when he comes back at around Nov. 25th or December.

    Good post.

We need somebody to close out games and waiting to see what T-Mac has left is the best option imo. And why we want another injury prone player is beyond me.

    Bet what, monopoly money.

Go back and read my posts, I've been saying that this is a, he said she said trade "rumor", not even a rumor.

Once there is substantle evidence that this is an actual possiblility I will be willing to put money on something.

As of now, this is just another entertainment thread for us to speculate, bicker, and dream about.

    At least some of us.

It's not about money. A sig trade. I'll design your sig and you'll be doing mine. Without offensive words of course.

Maybe, just maybe, Martin is part of the reason he has never been on a contender. Maybe he isn't that good.

May I remind you that C-Bud is evolving into this kind of player with more of a smart play. Yeah without him perhaps.

Wow a lot of people have never seen Kevin Martin play.

One of the best shooters in the NBA, can also drive and create contact.

I'd do the trade, but hesitant because recently he's been battling injuries.

most fans don't watch bad teams. kevin martin has been the best player for the kings for a while, and they always suck.

Didn't Kmart drop 40 points a week ago?

Any ways, Kings would do this trade because you look up into the stands and have never seen so many empty seats. A big name like Tmac would help them out.

But if this is a possibility, it will go down when both players get healthy.

Tracy has missed 113 games and Yao has missed 93 since they became team mates at this ratio both Yao and Tracy is more prone to miss games as to Martin.

He is also a horrid defender, and Charmin soft...

I want to deal Tracy as much as anyone, but I'm no fan of Kevin Martin...
