What is there not to understand? The man could pass and rebound more effortlessly.
Ok. When he was injured he scored little but he deed the other things. For him flirting with a triple double is not a hard task.... google it yourself

    thanks for correcting

You do know we might not be able to sign any big name Superstars next season if you plan on keeping this team together (Scola, Lowry).

you probably want Bosh and I think he's great but the chances of landing him do not look good. You have to get the most for T-mac's carcass while he has value.

you might not think it but we don't have much options with Yao Ming still on this team next year.

TMac will be given one more chance to prove that he can play this type of system if he does he will more than likely be dealt in February. I will look forward to see if TMac will pass his MRI first and see him play before deciding on trading him for anyone that can help.

There is one Tyreke Evans and is already signed for the next 3 seasons, so he can't be signed next off season.

I did not say that. I want a big! or a wing player that can dribble and assist. What? Am I asking too much for a former back to back scoring champ? As opposed to many I won't lower my standards, at least that low.

You "feel" like TMac is gonna be great when he comes back? Send Morey an email and let him know that because I'm quite certain it will help his decision making.

    What "triple threat"?

TMac is definitely a triple threat....

    Back injury
    Shoulder injury
    Knee injury

Yup that's a triple threat all right.

TMac makes us a contender? You do know he has never made it out of the 1st round of the playoffs right?

Kevin Martin is a shooting guard. Keyword: Shooting. I don't understand the complaints that people are making that Martin does little except besides score. We have a 30 year old, $20+ million dollar liability sitting on the bench who's coming off a serious knee injury that's doing absolutely NOTHING, ZIP, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA and people are complaining Kevin Martin (a top 5 shooting guard mind you) is too skinny, a ball-hog, doesn't get enough assists, doesn't get enough rebounds etc. Who are you guys expecting to get in return for Tmac... Kobe? Wade? Roy? LBJ? Durant? Please... if this rumor has any truth to it whatsoever, we'd be fools not to jump on it.

Furthermore, I think Lowry would be the perfect backcourt running mate to Martin. A tough pg that plays good D who's willing to pass first and shoot second paired with a blazing quick, loves to cut, catch and shoot, willing to drive and able to get to the FT line SG sounds like a nice combo to me.

The most important thing to consider with Kevin Martin is that he's never been around a WINNING CULTURE. He's only made it to the playoffs once in his whole career. Yet more impressive is the fact that he doesn't demand trades, cry out like a diva or throw his teammates under the bus. The guy goes out and plays hard regardless and gets his.

LOL Yeah he did not make out of the first round but it was close everytime.
    Very close.
Regarding the triple double, he had a few games where he was flirting with one and although he limped the whole way to it. Overall he just played 30 what games.

you just lost me with that thought.

young talent usually don't make it to free agency. Teams pick up options and match them since they are usually restricted.

this might be the best chance to land a young (26) Big (6'7) beast (48) points just before he went down.

If the prize is right, well I can understand Morey. If that happened. Personally I would love him to retire a Rocket as opposed to Dakota. :D but that is out of context a little bit.
I do recognize what we need and that is not another wing that does what a Chase can do.

Look at the efficiency between Tmac and Martin...Martin is better. Shoot better FG%, at 3pt line, at FREE THROWS. Most importantly, Martin attack the basket relentlessly. Tmac never attack AT ALL!! That is why i like Martin....he attacks...attacks...attacks!! This is because he shoot way better than Tmac.

The only thing that Tmac has over Martin is assist...Tmac i think sees the floor better and run the team...but this team is better off if you have someone that keeps attacking. I say this before, we need more guys attacking especially playing along with Yao. That is why i hate to see Tmac pass the ball EVEN when the team is down and behind. YOu wwant your leader to attack not playing passive basket. This is why we criticizing him for not being aggressive and taking upon his shoulders. Attacks mean getting to the line and stop momentum..attacks means trying to stay close to the game and not getting it out of hands. This is a crucial ingredients to winning games. That's why Kobe attacks when he senses dangerous. Plus Kevin is a hell of shooter compare to Tmac. If this deal is 4 real..i would do it.

    I can dream can't I. :D
I think people forgot what kind of player McGrady was just 2 or 3 years ago. We all heard that he worked out the wrong way. And Grover said something that encourages me. Why not give him some games to at least make the MacFans happy before he gets traded?

so let the "prize" be kg, amare?

if there is a trade, it's not gonna be need-based. it will be based on what is the best we can get.
