alright. rarely overpowers somebody and make the And1 then. 10 is not the best when considered being on a bad team with him as a focal point.

Kev's assist numbers are too low. 2.6 and career 1.8.......

If you are going to trade T-mac, at least do it for a power forward...package him up with scola or landry and get someone that can plug the size issue at the 4.

David Andersen isn't getting it done.

Noicioni is not a better fit for what we do and he is the one that's overpaid. Martin gets to the basket and the line, the only knock is his health and that may have been cause so much of the work load has been on his shoulders.

Martin is capable of doing what he provides and more. I still say this does not get done.

Second that. What does Kev do outside his scoring. 3.6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.5 steals and too skinny. This are remotely good numbers not to speak of allstar numbers. You give away a player that is a triple double threat when his shot is off. Hmmmm, if only both were healthy.....

This deal stinks. We need to hold out for Chris Bosh. He should be priority #1. If we can't get him, then explore alternatives. But a shoot first injury prone 2 guard is not at the top of my list.

Why would the Raptors trade Bosh for T-Mac?

It would make it even harder to trade if Scola or Landry was included. The opposing team would need to match $25 mil instead of $22 mil.

Please pay attention to what we need. We don't need just another guy high at shot attempts, does not look to assist firsthand, is injury prone, with 6.7 not the highest.

We have that in Budinger who is smart and cheap to have.

How can anybody confirm my feelings? All I said was if he's here I hope he buys into the system. What, pray tell, needs to be confirmed here?

Your reply making sense? Dun think so.

I don't mind getting him but it reeks of a fire sale because Tmac might walk away next season.

Ok, can you name these other players that are the focal point of a bad team that are getting to line at a higher rate? If 10 free throw attempts is just "Ok" on a bad team, then you should be able to name a some other guys from the other 13 lottery bound teams with higher free throw numbers.

This is not about who is right or wrong. His 10 free throw attempts rarely makes his team better. Or do you see Sacramento as a good team? Hell Tyreke Evans makes them better. Not Kev.

    Let's see what we get:

    - Scorer (not much else) who is injury-prone with a large contract. (Martin)
    - Some not-so-great player with an albatross contract. (Nocioni)
    - Some smaller expiring contract.

    What we lose:

    - A huge expiring contract.

I'll take the huge expiring contract. Martin is intriguing, but is too injury-prone for my taste. We've had enough injuries.

if we trade mcgrady right now, it's highly unlikely we will be able to acquire an all-star. anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. a player at near-all star level is as good as it gets; martin is one of those who fit the description.
