Past 5 games: 12.2 pts, 13.8 rebs, 1.2 stls, 1.2 blks, 56% FGs, in only 32.5 mpg as a starter. This is the guy that had a 22 pt, 21 reb game against the Rockets and had another 17 reb game today. He is only a rookie (although 24 years old). Looks like the Timberwolves found a gem here. Edit - Typo in the title...can a mod fix this please?
Pekovic going down was a blessing in disguise. Adelman would've never given him the minutes/freedom to show his game if he wasn't forced to.
6'11. I thought he was just 6'9. He looked real good against us. Rick's got a lot of work to do in Min, though. Favoritism's killing him sticking to Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger. Those two just won't cut it. That's one of the things why Morey didn't extend him; he had a tendency to play guys he knows even though they aren't working out.
I went to the T'Wolves game at the TC last Thursday and Dieng was impressive. He should come in handy in my fantasy basketball matchup.
Was just thinking the same thing last night re. this thread. Lucky for him he is finally getting some PT.
