I'm with Clinton on this one, too. Gore shied away from the good parts of the Clinton Legacy too much. ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page
Gore is just a sore loser. ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
Maybe Gore decided that he, unlike Clinton, didn't want to take credit for things he had nothing to do with. Unless they were inventions...
Gore ran a loser's campaign. He never once defined himself as a champion, instead giving legitimacy to Bush's campaign. He never called Bush on his idiosyncrasies, or for that matter just being an idiot. Bush. Ironically the fact that Gore lost to Bush (not really, but just according to the Supreme Court) tells me that I truly did waste my vote this year. ------------------
I thought you were moving out of the country and would see us in four years Achebe. Change of plans? ------------------ The sky is falling!
Gore is a moron. If Clinton would have run again he would have won. . . Gore had a slam dunk and f*ck it up pure and simple. And I'm not anti-semetic but I think his choice of VP hurt him in some states [LIKE HIS HOME STATE!] I dunno if this country is ready for a non WASP that close to he presidency. Gore's only chance was to ride Clinton's coattails He is boring and uncharismatic He was only slightly electable . . .and the things that would have help . . he rejected. Rocket River ------------------
Al Gore is Al Gore's worst enemy. I've gotta side with the Clinton camp on this one ... Bill didn't mess Al up - Al did. That he can blame Bill for his losing brings me humor. This story also tells of a side of Al - but lets not rehash this. PS. I thought the VP choice was the best thing Al did - and I'm from Tenersee - hewhaw - and I 'taint Jewish either. Stereotypist. I don't think you can blame Al's loss on Joe. ------------------
They don't have the internet outside of the United States? Achebe never claimed he was posting from here. ------------------ "Knickerbocker Please!" visit www.swirve.com, coming January 20th, the top 10 films of 2000! http://www.geocities.com/clutch34_2000 for great Rocket insight by some of your fellow BBS posters!
That happened to be an attempt at a funny haha, but since you ask... I haven't gotten on a certain French car company's project yet. ------------------
Can't get on that LeCar II project, eh? That's unfortunate. ------------------ Houston Sports Board The Anti-Bud Adams Page
hahahaha.... I don't want to distract away from dc's post, but I am going through those jitters (the ball is kind of in my court I guess) as to 'what sort of change do I really want?'. French food, I'm sorry, but it sucks. Vienna is incredible, but is Heider (sp?) the Nazi still around? Plus I have a few personal software projects that look like they're right about to take their first breaths. To make a long story short Traj, I'm doing well in the Bush administration by snowboarding, trying to stay out of the Hangout and only watching ESPN and Discovery. If I stay here (UT), I hope to stay outside during the summers too. In the end, I guess something good will have come out of the Bush campaign... I don't watch tv as much and I'll be physically fit. I'll just be totally apathetic, but that works for you conservatives (just like the murders of JFK, Bobby K., MLK, Malcolm, Marley, etc.). p.s. I'm totally kidding. ------------------
Clinton learned that little bit of politics from old Ronnie Reagan, Mr. Freakman! Say whatever you want about Clinton, but one thing is for sure...he sure learned from his predecessors! ------------------ "Blues is a Healer" --John Lee Hooker
Rocket River, I believe that JFK was Catholic, wasn't he? ------------------ Don't come in Bullard's house!
I hope Saturday Night Live takes this and RUNS with it!!!!!! ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
at least clinton never claimed to have liberated concentration camps from the Nazis like reagan claimed. ------------------
