I'm not sure why everyone is crapping on Stern. Think big picture here. Another small-market team loses a potential star / superstar player. When all is said and done, Gordon will probably wind up on a team already with one or more superstars and / or on a team in a big market. Even if that Laker trade went though, the pieces that go to the Hornets probably wouldn't resign there either.
