This is great news for the starting lineup, not about Bev of course. Exactly what I have been wanting all along. Hopefully MDA sees this gets us off to better starts and therefore keeps it up all year, even when Bev is eventually back.

Get ready to give up 120ppg and have no bench besides Nene.

The bench will be fine because MDA said that either Harden or Gordon will ALWAYS be on the floor. Losing Bev is certainly not good, but moving Gordon into the starting lineup will NOT hurt the bench if MDA sticks to having either him or Harden always on the floor.

Let's not forget that we also picked up Tyler Ennis who- will still a relatively unknown quantity- looks to be a good compliment to both Gordon and Harden. Not to mention, Morey has a good track record with obscure point guards (Lowry ,Dragic etc.).

I'm not sold on Ennis or Pablo from a stand point of having a strong bench. Neither moves the needle for me against opposing teams' bench. Either can maybe be in with Harden or Gordon, but if they were in there without one of those two, I would be really worried. And as old as Pablo is, so far I like him more than Ennis. That could change, but that's where I stand as of today.
