Needs to happen sooner or later. Rockets are choking on that $16.8M Eric Gordon contract like a big piece
of pot roast stuck in the throat.

Needs to be traded for smaller bite size portions or a more easier tradable asset.

    GM’s know this......

right now it probably takes a first round pick to move EG......DEFCON 5.

Season starts near Christmas, so trades can probably start happening around late January........DEFCON 4
Might need to go 1st and 2nd round pick to move EG.

Trade Deadline in March, probably takes a 1st and couple of 2nd’s to move EG........DEFCON 3 & 2

End of Season.......DEFCON 1 (ALL LEVERAGE is Lost and all GM’s know Tilman has to get EG off his financial books)

**the price increases at each stage to move Eric Gordon.

Now there is a possibility of EG increasing his trade value; but Tilman can’t take that chance.......
EG lessening his trade value by always kicking the ball out of bounds on drives or getting injured
    might cost him Harden.

    Cant take that chance.

Eg and Tucker and picks for Oladipo and Turner.

    who says no????

    lolz

the funny part is if the Rockets miraculously pulled that off, the media would still be like “what’s going on in Houston? This team is imploding!! No playoffs for them!!”

I would say no. We have enough guards. Please let's get some more wing help.

Maybe just Oladipo. He wants out. We could start him and push Harden to 3. But I prefer having firepower like EGO off bench. For us to move him we'd need a true starting caliber small forward. Otto Porter type imo. Rather just play thru January to see how this new roster jells & reevaluate. Gordon's value won't tank any lower then now

Edit: am I delusional or is an Ariza buyout a possibility? Lol. He would start here. OKC has no need for him and all other contenders look stacked

Tucker and Gordon for Hield + 2nd Round Pick.

This makes Sac better, but also makes Houston offensively better, defensively not a good. I think you pull the trade because rockets are building a team around harden now but also that can take over once harden gets traded. Wall will probably not be part of the team in year or two as well, maybe he gets traded in 2-3 years or leaves. They are missing a piece as it is, player that can score when harden sits. This guy is a legit 3pt sharpshooter. Buddy.

But you need a guy who can maybe step up when Harden leaves as the main scoring guy, Buddy to me can do this in a rebuild around Wall. Rockets will go in to rebuild but keep Wall around to make the team look good and you can always benefit from a true point during a rebuild phase.

These are also 2 players who were unhappy here around Harden.

Good point. I just realized that we went from trading 3 of our picks to trading for 3 other teams picks. If we're good (which I certainly hope we will be), that's a trade up. Stoner is a winner in my book.

Sacramento just let Bogdanovic go to Atlanta to stay flexible, why would they trade Hield for Gordon? Ain't happening.

He’s not going to be traded before the season and despite what Ch is hearing I don’t think PJ is either. This is the roster per Silas (I believe him, he’s open and honest and incredibly detailed) and I’d be thoroughly surprised if there are more trades before camp starts tomorrow. Once camp starts it’s time to build some chemistry.
