I thought that other guy had just cold-cocked Dragic, but it looks like Dragic actually tried to strike him first with a closed fist. Looks like he was ejected. Can anybody elaborate? Language is a bit of a barrier here.
I loved Goran when he was here, but he can be a bit childish/unnecessarily hot-tempered Balbay was always a great defender
Yeah, looked like that to me as well. But how the hell did he miss? :grin: Also surprising that this happened very early in the game.
Commentator said Balbay has been harassing Dragic from the beginning and trying to get under his skin. I'm sure you all remember the same from Dragic when he made Westbrook mad. Anyway, Balbay succeeded in less than 4 minutes Dragic will really need to take care of his temper if we want to make a great result. Yes, Nachbar is playing in Euro too. He just signed with Barcelona after a great season with Bamberg, which is a decent team by Euroleague standards, but nothing special. He's been their best player and leader for whole season and we were delighted that he came back from injury in such a good shape. I don't know if you remember, but he was getting ready in USA while waiting for lock to finish and he already made an arrangament with one of the teams, but their first PG went down in one of preseason games and they had to change their hiring plans, leaving Nachbar on his own. Anyway, he's a fighter and natural scorer, and he brings much needed stability and leadership into our NT. I hope he can cool off Dragič too.
Before this turns into that thread, I love the trinity of pgs we had equally, but this is one thing I miss from gogi the most, his feistiness. he will throw down with you, flip ya flip ya for real.

Dogus...I took a MES class with him, he was there for like 2 weeks, we covered Turkey, he spoke a little about it, then never came back to class haha. I liked him as a player, can't shoot for crap though, was just tough and played D hard. Not an NBA player, imo.
