    Is this the same deal? GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition

    Also, I saw a Hero 3 Surf edition on Amazon's deals earlier, but that one's done, I think.

    You'll hear the skateboard for sure. Not sure about how loud the wind will be, but I had my older edition GoPro mounted to the roof of my car doing about 75 and the wind was loud. Even doing about 20-30 it was loud. Also, if the mount you use vibrates or doesn't lock down tightly, you may hear the camera/mount rattle even louder than the wind.

    Just saw your post about the LCD backpack. I got that for my previous gen and it helped me out a ton. It's easier to see what you're filming and also lets you play back on the camera itself. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy it again. Of course, I wish it was included with the dang camera to begin with!
