I think it may have something to do with the Union at UT. America = University of Texas?? /T_J commits seppaku
Oops, you forgot to log in as Major or gifford before responding!! It's called the State of the Union because the name hasn't changed since 1790. What a pathetic attempt at a rebuttal.
We do know that she made a video for the AIP in which she told them to "keep up the good work". So whether she was a member or not we do know that she supports their efforts.
He's responding to a comment about her husband, who is a former member. He's the one who is lying or delusional, take your pick.
Wow, I can't believe I totally forgot about the "regular people" argument used to elect Bush and Cheney four years ago! You can't get more ordinary than being an Ivy League graduate, multimillionaire, son of an ex US President or a CEO of one of the richest corporations in the world. Yep, just regular ole beer drinking Homer Simpson kind of guys.
LOL - you think that Bush won the 2004 election by playing the "I went to Yale and HBS!!!!!!!!!!!! and you idiots didn't!!!!!!!" card? if so, accept your humiliating TRUTH ENCHILADA here: http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/columnist/benedetto/2004-09-17-benedetto_x.htm
I didn't say he was a common man, but he ran as one. He certainly had no grasp on the issues, and hadn't traveled extensively. Likewise if you want the common man let's look at Obama. He had to work and pay for his schooling. He wasn't handed anything, and worked hard to achieve what he has gotten. He may have succeeded beyond what common people have, but he certainly started out as a common man, and had to work scrape and borrow to get where he is. I hope you won't hold the fact that he was successful against him.
QFT Seriously.... the biggest question of who is qualified should be asked of the POTUS nominee. And as far as that goes, Obama botched it up big time when he didn't pick Hil... which further indicates his lack of experience or judgment. Joe "Credit Card Company Marionette" Biden? Really?
This pretty much sums up what all sane people were thinking about the whole "simple-crawford-rancher-like-to-have-a-beer-with-guy" campaign Bush waged in 2000, and somewhat again in 2004. We knew it was BS, but people bought it anyway.
Yeah, but criticizing someone for using the word union instead of nation or country was just the ultimate in pwnage! You are so witty!
