As Sam pointed out, it refers to military spending. I did have a long post written about how governments can not increase economic growth ready to send. I then discovered that Milton Freedman said something similar when doing research to back up my assumption. Freedman said it better so I didn't bother submitting it. I will try to remember to post a link to Freedman's remarks tomorrow.

 

If it weren't for federal assistance, I would not have received my Associate's degree, my BS, and I would not be finishing an MBA this year, nor starting a PhD program next year.

The federal government is mandated to look after the "general welfare" of its citizens and supporting education certainly does that. I don't believe that education should depend on one's geographical location within the US, ALL citizens should have the ability to pursue their education to whatever level their talents can take them.

 

Actually, you have made unsupported allegations (I would LOVE to see your sources that were requested earlier in the thread) and moved the goalposts several times. Nobody has attacked YOU, they have decimated your arguments.
