Wasn't it Hoover's plan? But as economy gets back on track many many programs should be slashed and eliminated to reduce debt. This just cannot go on.
I think this is what many independent voters believe at the moment. A lot of us are in a wait and see approach in dealing with Obama's ambitions. Maybe they'll maybe work; maybe they'll blow up in all or our faces, but in the GOP side, there's just a bunch of idiots. Not saying that all of the GOP are idiots, because there's a lot of smart Republicans out there, but just not those in the current leadership positions.
Right -- like when Obama insisted he had to sign the porkulus bill immediately and then took three days before he got around to it so that it didn't interfere with his vacation -- meanwhile leaving no one time to read nearly a trillion dollar bill. Woof. That's chutzpah.
IT is a myth that nobody had time to read the bill. It was comprised of changes to what they already had been looking at for some time. They didn't have to read the whole bill. That should have already been done. All they had to do was read the changes.
I don't think Republicans have the right to complain about pork in this stimulus Bill. I say check your own party first before you guys start complaining about Obama.
