    could you imagine the outrage if a democrat had been president during 9/11 and f*** up as bad as the bush administration did and stonewalled any investigations as much as the bush administration did, even fighting against the creation of the commission to investigate.

    remember that junior only agreed to testify to the 9/11 commission under the conditions that it was limited to one hour,it was NOT under oath, it was unrecorded and with dick cheney sitting next to him.

    and republicans actually criticized bush for agreeing to testify. they said he should not.

    his national security adviser, condoleeza rice refused to testify altogether. could you imagine the outrage if a democrat had done this?

    Yes and no -- I agree that one party is generally more prone to be angry & grumpy, but our society and culture overall are much more primed for outrage in 2015 than in 2000. I think it's a web/twitter/reinforced-beliefs phenomenon. Americans are ready to get outraged when their cheese is melted enough.
