****- one of my favorite songs and now I have to picture Trump every time I hear All Right Now. I friggin guarantee you Paul Rodgers wouldn't give them permission to use that- probably couldn't do anything about it, though.

That's how upsetting it was. Being dead 15 years won't stop you when Trump is using your music without authorization. He should have used Hulk Hogan's old theme song instead.
Now they are playing the Stones "You can't always get what you want" I'd bet they wouldn't want their music used either.
"The Rolling Stones have never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately," the British band's publicist, Fran Curtis, told CNN in a statement Thursday.
I always remembered Bush as being the more popular candidate in both elections. Examples being who would you rather drink a beer with? Bush won both times. He was never elected based on being the smartest candidate. He had a good name and politically didn't do anything overtly screwed up to make Democrats dislike him. It really wasn't until his second term that people got fed up with him. The Great Recession was happening, and people were fed up with having troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Especially as more info leaked that there was intel over 9/11 that the Bush administration knew about but did not take enough action that could have possibly prevented it. The War on Terror has been a complete disaster that in no way has lessened terrorism which was the whole point.
Yes... Well Authoritarianism. That always appeals to a certain % of the population. Even if he loses, he has opened the door for future fascists to realize they CAN be a major player in American politics.
I have friends who were Bernie supporters texting me saying that they're voting For Trump after hearing his speech.
Huh. If you say so. My Bernie pals, and they are legion, are texting "OMFG, okay Hillary it is then" and "He almost pulled a full Il Duce"...
Why would I bet? I still have Shillary winning, but I think the ultimate results might be closer than people expect.
Thought the speech was good....I didn't like his campaign during the primary, but I have to be honest...he did really well tonight. I honestly don't know if it changed my mind about voting for him...but he didn't hurt himself IMHO. And Ivanka also did really well. I'm thinking she scored some points with some mothers of younger children. What a credit to Trump she is.
Yeah... the Law and Order candidate who can't even respect cease-and-desist requests. Come on- if America was as bad as the picture he painted, I seriously would never leave the house.
