Don't be so stupid, Mark. There is physical evidence of the connection between Menendez and Zarqawi. Only three days ago Menendez tried to change the city of Pronceton to the city of Zarqawiton. Then, of course, the university would have to change and this would lead to more terrorists training in Zarqawiton, NJ thus facilitating their next attack on "America, Great Britain, Canada or who knows where."

    You are dumb.

    Weak.

I never said I thought I was well versed in politics.

If this is "dirty" like you claim, then so is Demolosers strategy of using American casualty numbers to bolster their campaign.

Posts like yours make me laugh, because they are so whiny.

Keep D&D civil? Maybe you should try first. Unless passive aggresive posts are civil.

Using the language of the original post...

Dems are using the death of American soldiers as a political tool for midterms.

At least you have good taste in movies.

You should look into the new Battlestar Galactica TV series. It deals with alot of the same thematic issues as Blade Runner. New model machines, look like humans... What is humanity? Can machines feel? Can you rape a machine? I honestly think you'd love it.

Hey, I forgot that you're a huge fan of the movie. I recently saw a couple of episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica series, and was really impressed with the CG and the acting. I haven't seen enough to understand where they are in the plot, so that was a little confusing, and my wife kept asking me to explain stuff to her, which I attempted to do, without a huge amount of success, because she didn't watch the original, and I didn't know where this new version was taking things.

At least we agree about the beauty of great SF!

I like how you accuse Deckard of not being civil after you use a term like "Demolosers" call his post weak and whiny.

Blade Runner, my favorite movie of all time mang. ;)

If you are a Netflix member, I strongly urge you to watch the series through. Currently the first season and a half is out on DVD, with the 2nd half of season 2 due out in September, and with season 3 set to premier in early October.

The new version is pretty radically different from what I can glean from the original. It takes itself very seriously, no camp. Lots of existential type stuff, artificial intelligence, etc.

I gaurantee you will love this. Netflix it seriously. We can make some BSG threads when the new season comes out. ;)

I don't put "Keep D&D Civil" in all of my posts. Maybe that's the distinction you were looking for?

Using casualty numbers as one barometer to show how a misguided strategy by this administration has led to our current situation Iraq is "dirty" politics?

So casualties don't matter? Our leaders are not responsible for the lives our young men and women they through into harms way? What world is this in which you live? I think the lives our soldiers do matter and to say that to call attention to the number of deaths that have been wasted it this affair a political move is a cold and disrespectful statement.

The truth sometimes hurts, but we can't hide from it.

I may not agree with your political opinions, but the new Battlestar Galactica rocks. Best drama on television.

Using the death of a well known terrorist to show positives in Iraq is "manipulative" politics?

So capturing terrorists doesn't matter? What world is this in which you live? I think the capturing of terrorists does matter and to say that to call attention to the successes of the Iraq occupation "manipulative" is a cold and disrespectful statement.

Saying that if someone voted for a political opponent for US senator then a terrorists wouldn't be captured is manipulative, disrespectful and specious.

mark- i'm not sure why this should surprise you, or what is really wrong with it, since for the past three years thje democrats have used the war in iraq for political purposes, supporting the same strategic goals for zarqawhi and his cohorts, if not their tactics. why should it be ok for the kossacks, but not the good guys?
