It took me a while to get on board with the subscription model, but now that I have I sorta wonder why I ever pushed back. I guess it was old habits of not "owning" the software that tripped me up. I mean I'm paying like 80 a year to have the software and all the updates, and I could even get it cheaper if I wanted to pay in advance. It's a no-brainer.
Any advice on convincing my org to switch our whole department over to Mac and OS X? They're always preaching the need for more creativity and ingenuity, so the move is an obvious no brainer.
I work for a $20+ billion dollar international company and we use office365. This is likely because google is banned in the largest country in the world population wise, which we have to talk to often.
I use office 365 with my senior English classes. They all submit their college essays, proof of college applications, resume's, current events, and research papers directly to my outlook. Their cloud storage is great as the students have access anywhere they have service! It shows too. Kids are producing great work!
