Alex Jones? Wal-Mart conspiring to build highways in Mexico paid for by US drivers? Jo mama, you, like Ron Paul, have shown your true colors. Your allegience is clearly to the United State of Paranoia. I also wasn't previously aware of Dr. Ron Paul's stance on evolution. Honestly, this is one of a very few litmus test issues for me. It is really disturbing that a medical professional could be so ignorant of reality. If he's not competent in his own field, how can you trust him to be a competent leader of the free world?
if yah knowingly have folks writing stuff under your name you're dishonest. if your cheating ass knows ghost writers are filling in for yah, AND YAH NEVER CHECK THE CONTENT, you're a dishonest lazy ass. i could go on ...

um, why does it NOT bother you that our governments are being merged into a european style union? and which is it, a conspiracy theory as you previously implied or a "good thing"?
what about him? you really need to learn to comprehend what you read. did i say wal-mart was building the highways? no, i did not. a spanish company called cintra is building them, like they have in texas. i said corporations like wal-mart are the beneficiaries of these superhighways (which its a conspiracy theory to talk about). but none of this exists and if you believe it you also believe in aliens, so its all a moot point. i strongly encourage you to watch the videos rhster posted. your attempts at condescension would be much more effective if you werent such a poor speller.
I also think it is an interesting idea, but the highlighted part is not true. The military conflict between CCP and Dalai Lama in the Tibetan region in the 1950s was a civil war within China, and it was fought over slavery and serfdom, among other things.
I don't mean to argue unnecessarily and apologize for yanking your chain. I understand your concern with many of the issues that Paul speaks about and they concern me also, but from a very different philosophical and political perspective. We probably share many common political positions since libertarians do champion individual liberty and here we would find much common ground. As regards the NAU stuff, I do not believe it would ever be feasible in the same manner as the EU. The conspiracy theory ramifications are contrived by others as a result of some twisting the truth/lies/facts to fit their own position. Personally, I lean toward it being a good thing and a natural political evolution much as it was in Europe. A healthy and strong Mexico, Canada, and US presenting a united political/economic front would benefit all of us in the long run. I think more constructive cooperation among the countries has been needed for many years, especially for Mexico's welfare and growth. NAU suppositions aside, a healthy Mexican economy would be the best answer to illegal immigration. Here is a list of Ron Paul's stand and votes on the issues, it's pretty comprehensive. http://www.issues2000.org/TX/Ron_Paul.htm There are many issues where I agree and many where I find his stance wrong. Those issues where I disagree, coupled with his long association with and support from fringe groups, his quirky views regarding small government, evolution, the gold standard, abolishing agencies, etc. make him an unattractive candidate on deeper investigation.
I don’t know if he is racist but to allow racist drivel to be published under your name for years is extremely stupid. The past 8 years have shown me that a stupid president doesn’t work so I’ll vote for someone else….
Oh, come on. 9/11 an inside job? Vaccinations cause autism? All the New World Order nonsense? Not a shred of evidence for anything resembling your highway conspiracy theory in those videos. "Weren't" requires an apostrophe.
I do concede I am voting for Ron Paul because I respect him and I really appreciate his honesty in my dealings with him. I may be deceived but he is the most honest politician I have ever met. So, I probably don't agree with his entire platform, but I trust his motives until proven different. And I am fully convinced he is UN-ELECTABLE do to his connections to radical ideas such as replacing the central banking system. (though I am convinced the future viability of the US Constitution depends on that action alone).
thanks for the response - we will have to agree to disagree though. before you get onboard with any kind of "north american union" (which doesnt exist and is a conspiracy theory to talk about!) i would look into how europeans feel about the european union. they dont like it. is mexicos economy being brought up to our level or is ours being dragged down to theirs?
what about it? why are you so obsessed with alex jones? those videos were about the north american union and the amero, not specifically the nafta superhighway "conspriacy theory". but there is no sense in arguing - you are right - the nafta superhighway doesnt exist. a spanish owned company called cintra is not building it. you cannot go on google, type in cintra/texas/mexico and read all about it because cintra doesnt even exist. you know what? spain doesnt exist - if you believe that there is a country called spain you are a tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist. the mexican government will not be running a port of entry in kansas city. its all conspiracy theories! in case you didnt notice, i dont use apostrophes or capital letters and you still are a poor speller.
OK, settle down for a second. There is ZERO evidence that the US, Mexico, and Canada are planning to switch to a combined currency. I don't dispute that there is a large-scale infastructure project to build interstate commerce routes. I do dispute that this is part of a concerted effort to create a sovereign entity out of the three North American mainland states. This is all off-topic, though. I suggest you start a new thread to further discuss your NAU conspiracy theory. So you are an admitted hypocrite. Nice.
im not the one who initially brought it up. again, reading comprehension is your friend. and who is it who keeps bringing up stuff like the north american union and alex jones? its you. but i do it intentionally - your poor spelling is by accident. i normally dont chide others for spelling errors b/c i make my share, but if i was going to engage in smug condescension of my fellow posters i would make sure i spelled correctly...otherwise you just look silly.
The report is titled, "Building a North American Community" (emphasis mine). There is nothing in it that advocates the transfer of US sovereignty to a North American Union. I would love to discuss this further in a new thread. Would you mind starting one? In the OP, you could explain why you beleive that we are moving towards a sovereign North American Union.
I must've mangled Ron's words when I paraphrased him. He definitely meant it in the context of the abolition era wrt black slaves. I really hope you've read more than a title to fire back a quick and flippant reply. You owe it to Rhester and his civil replies to do at least that.
