Morey has messed up on this trade. Wouldn't be opposed of trading Carl for Iggy, but an injury prone Kevin Martin? He makes McGrady look like an iron man.
Assuming NYK isn't involved in the deal... Tyreke Evans/Udrih Tracy McGrady/Fransisco Garcia Omri Casspi/Donte Green Carl Landry/Jason Thompson (could flipflop) Spencer Hawes/Joey Dorsey That would somewhat be the Kings' lineup. Mac, Casspi, and Green could spread out the floor so well. If McGrady pans out okay, they could be a scary team in about 2 years.
But Landry had a team option for next year anyway, so he would have played regardless. So far, this trade is a Morey screwup, in my opinion.
Landry is certainly gone for now,but is he gone for good? Its a possiblility that Houston resigns him after the season. Hopefully Morey has some tricks up his sleeve for next season.I think the Martin trade was a good one in the sense that he is the only player that is a Rocket after next season. Well under the cap to pick up Bosh,and hopefully Landry. Landry is the reason Houston is has the wins they have.I dont want to hear garbage about team effort. Down the line in the 4th is was just Landry and Brooks this season.

One moment, its tmac for hill+bad contract+ picks, the next moment, it was Noci+Miller+Salmon+TT and the next moment it became mac+mandry for kmart+expiring.. who knows what we'll see tmr morning.. If Landry's gone, then the management really is scaried by the size of the contract the guy's asking. Also rmb there's always draft..Morey owns the draft...and we'll get our backup/starting PF.
