Wish him all the best in Sacramento. Hope he catches alot of lobs from Tyreke Evans. Landry was by a wide margin my favorite Rocket this season. Today is bittersweet.

Carl Landry will be back. For selfish reasons I hope he doesn't get too many minutes in Sacramento and we sign him to a fair contract in the offseason. He belongs in Houston.

I agree. I am hoping for this as well...

Hey maybe we had a deal with him that we will get him back in the offseason :)

Hey maybe in this three way trade, if the Knicks get invloved, they can include Marcus Landry to the Kings so that Carl can play with his brother!!

HUGE props to this guy. I love how he left it out there on the court every time he played. The classic memory for me was that series with Utah when he lost a tooth the FIRST time. He is one of my favorites, and I had a feeling that before the season started he would take things to the next level. He didn't disappoint us as Rockets fans, and I wish him the best.

Damn I am really gonna miss Landry, he was one of the untouchable players for me on this team. Always played tough hardnosed basketball and never backed down. A true warrior - coming back after getting his teeth knocked out several times and even getting shot. All the best to him, I hope he develops his game even further and gets a chance to be an all star some day. I will never forget him rising up for the dunk on many occasions when most guys would just lay it up.

    Damn.....not MANdry.

    Hell take Kevin Martin back

    DO NOT WANT!!!!!

MANdry was a classic player....lose teeth, no prob...spit them out and go right back in the game.

I guess I'll be watching alot more of the King games this season.

Sad to admit but I wasn't too thrilled when the Rockets picked Landry over all the other names that were still on the board. Who is that man with the large forehead? Hey it's pretty obvious I'm not a scout.

Carl always brought the best game that he had and gave us some nice memories.

    Good luck in Sactown Carl.

Carl will always be a favorite of mine. Best wishes to him.

And he's going to destroy us when we play him- we lowballed him in FA a couple of years ago and now we trade him. Let's hope the rest of our roster can overcome that :D

Landry was awesome this year and will be missed. You got to love his grit, fire, athleticism and scoring ability.

That said, as I consider the trade and think about Kenny Thomas, isn't Landry kind of this Rocket's squad version of Kenny Thomas? He's a slightly better scorer than a young KT but a worse rebounder. Kenny did have some solid years when he left Houston, but was never all that special and eventual lost that extra step of athleticism and was overpaid.

I wish Landry the best, and at 6'9, he isn't quite as undersized as KT was, but I think Morey was prepared to let him go as he will always be a below average rebounder and a mediocre defender.

Again, hate hate hate to see him go, cause he's one heck of an offensive player, but you got to give to get.
