I'm going to be graduating within the next year from college and i am getting to the point where i want to propose to my girlfriend. (we both decided between us that we wanted to get out of college before we think about marriage). I want to do something very special for her because she has done so much for me over the years. Anybody have any good proposals they have used or heard of someone else using? I just want some creative ideas that could really sweep her off her feet. Doesn't have to be unreal or anything, just something that would really be special to her.
Need more info on her. What does she like? Any special places you spent time together at? You can always propose at halftime of a Rockets game. Consider that your "backup" plan.

Well i got her into sports. Shes a sports fanatic. As much as i hate to say, she likes the dallas mavs and shes in love with Dirk. We always go to the mavs vs. rockets games every year and we always joke with each other about the rivalry between the teams. It works well being able to boast to her when we win, and vice versa for her. I know she wants me to do something very sweet for her, but i know she wouldnt want me to propose to her at a rockets game(i think she'd rather be a little more personal and intimate ya know?)
Nice, i like that but i live around houston and we really dont have any theme parks around her, thanks for that idea though, keep em comin! i just want to hear people's stories. Im not trying to copy them or anything, just get my mind thinking.

I heard this advice from the podcast My Brother, My Brother and Me. The best way to propose is to fake your own death and wait two years. Do it on an anniversary so that she will be so happy to see you. But now here is the kicker. When you fake your own death you have to make it seem like it was her fault so that way she won't be able to get over you for the duration of you being fake dead. Hope that helps.

Lol my girlfriend is legit. I have a job. I am about to graduate college. You find a new boyfriend, maybe a man named Guy LeDouche.
make her come find you, a scavenger hunt for you. make plans to go out - only when she comes to get you, she is left a note that you are waiting for her if she can find you. then its up to you to work the magic. make it 5-10 stops long. each stop should be someone or something holding clues to find the next clue (or next destination). at each stop you should have a note and a gift, something that she will recognize, something that you two have shared (ex: her favorite chocolates with a note about how you love how sweet she is). make each stop a place you both frequented or something special between the two of you (ex: the place you guys used to go to alot when you were first dating - where you fell in love). by the time she finds you at the end (you're of course waiting for her at the last stop) - she'll be a bawling mess and ready for you to propose. (hey it worked for me) just an idea EDIT: make sure your notes are full of clues (so you're not hard to find) and you're uber lovey dovey in the notes - this is supposed to be memorable! her panties will tingle with desire. good luck bro
