Im excited to see the rebuild. Watching the Rockets rise from the ashes like a Phoenix..... Seriously, the Harden years were amazing and it got me back excited about watching the rockets after having moved away where I couldnt catch them without league pass. However, recently the entire season was just simply binary. Either we got to the finals or the season was kind of a disappointment. It was great for a while and I already miss just expecting to win every night but I am looking forward to being interested in the draft again and taking note of free agents the rockets might be able to acquire and just be an NBA wannabe internet GM nerd. Good times
I’m convinced KPJ is our future 1. I’m confident Wood will be our franchise 5. Either Tate or KMJ will lock down the 3. Make a good trade, and we could land our future 2 or 4. We’re not far.
If things continue chill off the court, KPj will be a perennial All Star...perhaps an MVP candidate himself one day. On the hardwood, his talent is undeniable. A natural feel for the game...Kevin makes it look easy while making those around him better. Great court vision and passing skills. He doesn't just have elite athleticism either. KPJ knows how to use it....getting to the rim and finishing consistently. Immense talent, dedication and hard work shine with this Kid. The footwork didn't just happen overnight. I'm also of the firm belief that both his defense (has all the tools/flashes)and his J will improve big time. Fantastic personality/attitude in interviews/post game. All this and he's 20 years old.... Special Special Player I'll tell you something...I'm really high on Christian and feel there is still good upside from here. CW should have a great career. But, Kevin....his ceiling is insane. In his game, yes I see some James, but there's also some Michael Ray Richardson ...perhaps some Penny also. So, together these two are going to be a treat to watch. Then assuming one of the top 4 picks ( a decent shot at one)...which I think WILL happen.... Imagine KPJ, Cade, and Christian..... Goooooood viiiiiiiiiiibbbess train!!!!!
Agree on KPJ and Wood. I think Tate and KMJ are good role players, but would prefer a better outside shooter at SF. Maybe after tonight's game Tate gains more confidence in his 3, he did look pretty good. I know we're in a terrible losing streak, but I actually feel pretty good about our future right now and we have some chips to deal. VO looked as good tonight as he did the first game he played with us. Hopefully, Stone can parler this performance into a great deal for us.
The Rockets will likely draft one of Jalen Green, Evan Mobley or Cade Cunningham. That's an incredible position to be in. Everyone should listen to other's views with respect and with love. Even if it's not your guy that the particular poster likes, in the end, the Rockets got pick #2, and even if it's not your guy the Rockets choose, the Rockets have pick #2.
