Come on up to Denton. I'll rent you my futon for a cheap $150 per night, all ammenities included (except for food, alcohol, toilet paper, pillows, sheets, and air conditioning).

    Good idea.

They could mountain bike up and down the cement creek that runs from Newton Rayzor to Civic Center Park.

They could be ground into powder joining a pick-up game of rugby on the cement-like sun-baked 'lawns' of North Lakes Park.

They could get beaten up by a TWU-dike for touring their foul male-ness across their campus.

They could wander the quaint anachronistic town square cradling the historic courthouse - a perpetual 'work in progress' being determinedly and insanely financed and bolstered by all the lawyers' wives who run the 'culture' of this city.

They could catch a production of 'Guys and Dolls' by the community theatre company in the ancient balconied movie house where the film 'Bonnie and Clyde' was premiered decades ago - with all the glamour and glitz hollywood could cram into this bass-ackwards burg.

They could drive by Pat Boone's old college days digs on Hillcrest street.

They could troupe out to the Greenbelt for an invigorating hike into the clutches of some demented hillbilly kidknapper who "needs a wife. You'll do ... mister."

Yeah, come to Denton. You'll love it.

R03, I've never been, but I've heard Corpus was a pretty good 4th of July spot.

My friends and I are deciding between that and Galveston.

It's basically an uncomfortable couch that turns into an uncomfortable bed...
