Thai gourmet and nit noit are pretty expensive. Not all thai spices are built equally. The one on dairy ashford and bellaire sucks while the one near s. gessner and bellaire is much better. The buffet thai spice when you want LOTS of thai. Sabai Thai on bellaire is better than the Sabai thai in Sugar land.

i've always hated Thai cottage. Thai Siam is good on hwy 6 but their service is slow. They cook the curries from scratch when you order it though so that's good unlike most places where they already have a pot of the curries ready.

I highly recommend the ginger fish, Thai hot. I get that every time I go and love it!

Be warned, though, that the heat scale at this place is higher than most. But, if you can handle the heat... go Thai hot!

I've been to Konomwan a few times too and it really is as good as advertised. It's a long drive for me, so I don't get back there much.

    Moes-

At Thai Gourmet I think a good first timer's dish is the Basil Beef. It's consistently great. Their soup is also really good. Go for the Tom Yum Goong.

DO NOT GET THAI HOT as someone else said. I usually get hot there and it sets my ass on fire. For reference I get either Wild or Blazing at BW3's. They are nowhere close to the pain you will feel from Thai Hot at Thai Gourmet. Unless you really like spicy foods, go with medium your first time.

    Hey, I warned him. ;)

It's true... if you're not a hot freak (like me), don't f- around with Thai hot at that place. You will

You have my respect for being able to do it. I'm a hot freak and Thai Hot will ignite my bathroom for a long time.

Well I ended up just getting the Spicy Fried Rice with Shrimp, I got medium spicy and it was pretty damn spicy.

Good food, a bit pricey though.
