    My main cooking knives are Miyabi. They are superb. I thinly sliced my thumb nail off with my onions a couple of days ago. I do not have their steak knives, however.

    did you get any knives? we've had a set of Henkel knives we got for our wedding, thirty years later they're still in great shape, easy to sharpen, don't break the bank. fwiw
