    Agreed...Plus don't forget Sopranos...:) I love going to the movies and go all the time, but you can tell a difference in the quality of TV programming like 24, Heroes, Lost, etc...I still wish Rome wasn't going away... :(

    The same argument about what is POPULAR versus what is GOOD could be made in music. I hear people all the time say, "There just isn't any good music out today." That's bull****. There's plenty. You just have to look for it.

    The same goes for film. There are plenty of good films being made. It's just that most of them aren't big-budget, mass marketed Hollywood blockbusters.

    See, I think all three of the non-HBO series you listed have their share of terrible acting, especially Heroes. Actually, I'm not sure there's a decent actor in the bunch.
