I'm truly ignorant as to what good places are out there, so I need y'alls help.

    #1. Good places to eat?

#2. Good places to have a drink?

And it doesn't have to be in Sugarland proper. Just around about that area.

    Thanks.

Sugar Land Town Square has a bunch of restaurants and some wine bars and pubs. There's also Sam's Boat on the other side of 59 at the Fountains.

Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet on SW Fwy Stafford near the Sam's club. A bit pricey at around $13 per, but I assure you it's well worth it.

I've been to Dimassi's in the Woodlands. It's cheaper there now that you mention is $13. It's certainly awesome though

Just Google map it. That place is all commercial. No hole in the walls or secrets. Generic chains. Unless you like Pho. They have some authentic cash only Pho joints.

I've never been here, but a friend of mine raves about Aura which is out that way in Missouri City. Might be worth looking into if you're trying to find a good date spot out there.

Live Oak Grill @ Dairy Ashford and 90 if you're looking for a hole-in-a-wall place.

    Sugar Land's pretty commercialized though.

Correlli's if you want some I-talian.

As mentioned already the Town Square is where it's at.

Fatty, I don't think this is your type of place, but I'm gonna mention it anyway. There's this vietnamese sandwich shop called Linh BBQ on Hwy 6 near Dulles Ave. that has pretty good food. However, they have this soup there with roast duck that is probably my second favorite soup in Houston (after the Tom Kha Gai at Kanomwan)........that is high praise. It appears that the name of the soup has changed on me a few times, but the last time I was there, it was called Roast Duck soup with winter greens. It's outta this world. Of course, you don't like Pho, so you probably won't like this.......but someone might get some enjoyment out of it.

    I HIGHLY second both...

Corelli's for Italian (Hwy 6 @ Williams Trace)

    and

Live Oak Grill. (Dairy Ashford right off of Hwy 90) Good prices, great food. Nothing small about their portions either. I've never had anything there I didn't think was really good, but I really like their Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken.

    Not mentioned:
Earl of Club (Hwy 6 @ 59) is also not a place you see other places and have good sandwiches IMO.

But, your best bet is the Town Square area. There is a lot of stuff in and around there.
