Good News US to Cut Off Aid to Honduran Coup Makers

It could happen. These countries are in a tough spot. Keep the same old same old with lots of starving desperately poor folks and a small elite or reform. As we see in Honduras and the attempted coup in Venezuela, the elite will use violent and undemocratic means to keep in power.

You can't have a mild mannered Obama type take them on. It just won't work. So you have to have a tougher type leader who will fight them with less than perfect democratic or at least election oriented tactics that the elite uses. The elite will abandon the country if their status is threatened and they easily have the money to live or start over abroad.
