Kevin Sumlin declined the Cincinnati interview and looks to prepare UH for their bowl game. Any chance he declines other interviews?

he will stay one more year, then get paid. sucks big time, but that the way of NCAA football right now
If the Aggies could: 1) Swallow their pride and accept a coach from UH 2) Get their big wigs and mega donors on board with a black coach 3) Find the money or a way to give Sherman the boot Then yeah, I could definitely see him going to the Aggots.
If we thought a coach could turn the program around, we would hire him. Everybody starts somewhere. Fact is, Art Briles won't turn Baylor around anytime soon either. Yeah, because A&M has never hired a black coach in the athletic department. Oh wait. Melvin Watkins coached A&M basketball for a while. Last time I checked, he is black. Nobody wants to coach at a school where they dump the coach every few years. Besides, anybody that looks at the overall performance of this team compared to last year and looks at this year's recruiting and does not think Sherman is making strides needs new glasses. Really unnecessary.
So you honestly think every A&M booster and admin is going to be on board with hiring a black head football coach? I admire your optimism, but I'm not buying that... not that I completely believe what the rumor mill on texags.com says about Sumlin getting short changed during the last hiring process, but if I had to pick between "they'd rather have a black coach" and "they'd rather have a white coach" guess which one I'm taking...
Don't mind Donny, Refman. He always feels the need to overcompensate and hurl insults at other teams, it's like an inferiority complex. IIRC he contended that the coogs could hang with UT if the two played each other (I could be totally mistaking him for someone else though) but back to the subject at hand, at least Sherman can do a satisfactory (not a great) job on both sides of the field, as opposed to Sumlin's lights Out offense and non-existent defense. If he doesn't pull an effective defense out of his a$$ somehow, I see all the hype going away and his ceiling will be limited to an offensive coordinator on a kick ass team (and one thing for sure, he'll do a damn fine job).
Uh, no. To all of that. Especially don't give a crap about A&M, positively or negatively. And I find this especially humorous since bashing other people's schools/programs seems to be one of your favorite pass-times.
