Good music no one has heard of....

    Well known band, written off. Panned as too consumer friendly, too simplistic. Gone completely out of everyone's collective sight.
    Then off radar unbeknownst to anyone, band regroups. Records solid music offerings, a far departure from their previous sound. BUT, no one knows...and therefore it is DEFINITELY credible to support it.

    And if word starts to leak out, you have a period where you can use the band as a symbol of "IRONIC" taste, mocking having interest in them. Giving you time to discard them again for more artistic pursuits. Cred INTACT.

    A genius move I say. For it not matters that the band WAS mainstream, and long as they currently ARE NOT or IS mainstream.

    I am a big fan of the band COLD, until this day I've only met about 5 people that that ever heard of them. They are a rock band from Florida with an awesome singer, and they come to Houston like once a year. If you ever listen to their lyrics, they will definitely touch you.     Not necessarily in the "no one has heard" category, but I actually searched on here last week and from what I could tell, nobody on here has posted anything about this guy. So I figure it's still worth sharing here.

    Make that six. In my opinion, those aren't the best songs from them though. "Stupid Girl" "Suffocate" "No One", and "Remedy", in that order, are my favorite. Singer is awesome though
