Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules

    Much better than the first.

God, Rosario's chat with the car owner was priceless.

The way Dawson's eyes light up when she watches her friends do something dangerously stupid--from empathetic fear to absolute rapture, all in the span of one closeup? Acting!

The car chases were bad---, among the best ever.
Every other car chase has the participants protected inside the cars. Big mistake.
    And the
killing off all the main characters mid-movie
hadn't really been done as well since Psycho. Completely unexpected, and not just for shock, but completely in line with the parallel stories.

Plus, you really have to hand it to Tarantino as a foot-fetishist for filming an exquisite, disembodied leg go flying, slow motion, glistening mid-air, fifty feet away from its body. (To pair, of course, with Rose McGowan in the first bill, with her machine gun prosthesis.)

Wasn't Road House given terrible reviews?

I always thought the Adam Sandler version of Longest Yard was pretty good. Very Funny.

The Big Blue (1988) -- was a great movie that no one saw.

    Jean Reno was awesome.

Agreed. A bit different than the original (more silly, less cynical), but still good. Sandler was better than expected.

Good call. Soderbergh's version is a great movie, even if it is a remake.

Remember bits and pieces of it...that was the one about divers trying to go for the world record of diving on a single breath? Pretty interesting.

I agree with a lot of the ones above, except Grandma's Boy which is possibly one of the worst movies ever.

The Fifth Element is one of my faves and I believe it was reviewed sorta poorly.
Also, I seem to be able to watch Joe Dirt whenever it is on.
I liked the Hudsucker Proxy, I think it was panned.
I'll admit I like Night of The Comet for some reason.

Unbreakable by M. Night Shymalan. Truly Underrated and this was another movie ahead of it's time.
