Nonsense. I am utterly non religious yet I think Sixpence is a great band. Would you accept the same type of blanket statement if someone said there is no good rap music. There is no good hip hop.
The only problem that I have with Christian music is the lack of personal feeling and expression in the lyrics. Christian lyrics are generally about **** taught in sunday school. The best music comes from tortured artists that don't give a damn.

Then you should listen to Sixpence None The Richer. The guy who started the band was heavily inspired by dream pop, and counts The Sundays as a major influence.

You are making a blanket generalization. you really haven't listened to much Christian Music A lack of personal feeling? much is the exact opposite - much comes from a true feeling of the power of God like "The Stand" by Hillsong..as far as tortured artists..Lenae Hill - came out of years of sexual molestation - or "Always" by Building 429 which is about losing a 3yr old child (one of the worst things someone can go through) and watching the police rush your home and taking your father being taken away from you and thrown in prison when your a child. Many of the christian artists come from bad backgrounds and have dealt with many, many personal problems before they came to Christ. I have met many with Drug addiction, prison, physical abuse, sexual abuse, etc in their past.
