    How about green chile stew in town then? Been meaning to make if out to Santa Fe Flats on 249, anywhere else around that's good?

    Will give Cliffs a go.

    The Best Chili in Houston!!!!

    There is a place called The Chili Shak located at 9600 Fondren Rd Ste B4 at the corner of Braeswood (next to the Subway) Their chili is exceptional and is not served with beans!!!...they serve it over burgers, jumbo dogs, over rice with cornbread..on spaghetti, baked potatoes, tamales, nachos, french fries fritos......you've got to try it!.....It's chili just like gran-mama made.





    What restaurants in Houston make a bowl of good Texas no bean chili?

    Buffalo Chili at Bubba's Burger Shack is solid... perfect with the best burger in town in my opinion.

    Beans are an improvement on chili. I just cooked a seven hour chili tonight. :)
