If you are always sore, you are either overtraining or not getting in enough calories. You need to take a full week off from the weights once every 8-10 weeks. For a basic conventional split like the one classic outlined, anything more than 9-12 sets for a particular muscle group each training day will result to overtraining. Do not overtrain. Working out too much or for too long will hinder your growth and will sometimes make you even weaker.
