Outside of Stockton and Malone, there is no person in the basketball world I despise more than Avery Johnson. Every time he opens his mouth and talks with that annoying, nasal Southern drawl, I want to crack open his pansy-ass cockroach looking face!

NBA officials stink!! They call the fouls on rockets but not on the suns for the same moves. Mavs can hack the rockets to death with no calls but if they touch Amare they are called for a foul. It just makes me sick that the refs call the game according who is playing instead of the action on the court. Just pathetic.

The Suns did to the Mavs what the Mavs did to the Rockets in game 7 of the playoffs. They beat them with their speed. The Mavs just were not able to keep up. They were a step too slow and that's why they got called for so many fouls. Has to make you wonder what the Suns speed would do to the Rockets.

Interesting that the Suns have decided to let Dirk get his and shut everyone else down. Worked out pretty well for them in game one.

Mavs will have no shot if they try and run with the Suns.

Yeah, no kidding....I never understood why we kept double-teaming Dirk when he was so off in our series. It was the guys like Terry and Stackhouse, being left wide-open to hit threes that killed us. I hope the Suns DESTROY those punks, so they can go and reshuffle their roster, once again and get themselves primed for the continous 1st or 2nd round exits year after year. Being a former native Houstonian, I loveit when ANYTHING Dallas gets it's a$$ handed to it.

I watched pretty much the whole game last night.

I saw so many non-calls against the suns that wouldve been called against the rockets. The Suns athleticism made the mavs look bad.

    Suns in 5

    Suns guard Joe Johnson
    On Amaré’s performance:
“He was just being Amaré like he’s been doing all season. I don’t think any one person can stop him on the block. I think he has the advantage because they’re not doubling.”

Uhh....guess he forgot how Yao routinely shuts down Amare one-on-one.

I don't see how it's revenge; if anything it makes the Rockets look worse.

Great game...My g/f, who is a Mavs fan got PO'd at me because I was rooting for the Suns...She goes "They're a texas team" and I quickly said, I'll root for the other Texas team, Suns in 4...

Needless to say, we didn't talk the rest of the night and I she thinks I'm still bitter...Hell yeah I'm bitter, Mavs suck...

    Go Suns!!!

He might mean more about this series, just giving props to his boy...In either case, you are absolutely right--Yao punishes Amare on the blocks by slapping his shots all night long...didn't Yao have like 4 blocks on Amare alone in the last Rox-Suns game?

They are going to put his Dirkness on Amare on D. :D I want to see if Dirk can last that role for 3 qtrs, while Tmac lasted in a 7 game series with more duties. If I were Dirk, I wouldnt call out Damp, coz that dude will fug it, and Dirk just volunteer himself to be owned by Amare. :D

It was funny seeing Cuban just shaking his head in awe after Amare schooled his $73 million man. AJ falling just about made my night as well.
