So the Canadians are going to beat the Germans tonight. Way to go Suns! so glad Dallas is out of this. Let's go Spers!
SCREW YOU DALLAS!!! Dirk is nothing but a b****ing crybaby, take your mophead owner back in the showers and blow each other while you cry in each others arms till next season only to do it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR YEARS TO COME!!! YEAH, I'M A HATER!!
WHOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dallas is gone! They better show Cubans face. I love to see him upset!
Now I don't have to hear any **** from work.... YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! THE MAVS ARE OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS!!!
nash is a ****ing baller. 39/12/9 to follow up 34/13/12 to follow up 48. damn. with shaq sitting on the bench, nash just legitimized his mvp with these last 3 games. awesome to see dallas lose, and by their own former player. and it was so tantalizingly close for them with that 3 point lead with 10 seconds left.
Wow........Cuban is such a great owner. He failed to re-sign the NBA MVP and still refuses to believe that you can't buy NBA Championships. Sweet revenge for Nash, wow. Nothing better than knocking your old team out of the playoffs.
I know it has been said thousand times...but have to say it one more time...Steve Nash is unbelievable!!!
In addition to all the accolades Nash gets for his scoring and vision, he has one of the best basketball minds that I've ever seen. If you're down three in the final ten seconds, the odds are high that the other team will foul you. That's the smart play. But if you push the ball quickly without calling a timeout (as Nash did), there's a good chance you'll catch the defense by surprise. Dallas was so shocked and trying to find the right matchups that they didn't have a lot of time to realize that fouling would be the best option. Everyone in that building expected a timeout to set up the last play... even D'Antoni wanted a timeout... but there are a few rare cases where that isn't the best option. It's even more rare to find a player who recognizes those situations, and that's what Nash does. In contrast, look at what happened to Dallas when they trailed by three with 13 seconds left in overtime. They called timeout after Richardson made his second FT. But they knew that if they took very long (i.e., got under the 10 second mark), Phoenix would foul. So Dirk immediately launched an off-balance heave with a man in his face and that was the game. They couldn't have the Terry/Nowitzki pick and roll at the top of the key because it would take too long to develop and end up with one of them at the line. OTOH, they might have been able to do that had they pushed it in transition (after the free throws) and not given Phoenix three minutes to think of the best percentage play. I think Phoenix has a better chance against the Spurs than most people will give them. I don't think there's much doubt that the Spurs are deeper and more talented. But with point guard as erratic and inconsistent as Parker and the Spurs' struggles from the line as a team, they go through fourth quarter cold spells when the defense collapses on Duncan and forces the rest of the team to make plays. They still play great defense, but if you have a floor general as intelligent as Nash along with good three-point shooting, you'll have a chance to make some fourth quarter rallies and steal a game or two late (see Seattle series Game 3). I still think the Spurs will win in 7, but wouldn't be surprised if it goes the other way. Nash is incredible.
Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. Houston remains Clutch City. You are dismissed, Dirk. Next time, you'll be required to write it 50 times on the board instead of 20.
Dirk was such a F**KING WHINER AND ASSFLOPPER! Everytime he drove, he would want the foul. Nash just went back on his end and hit the big shots.....just unf**kinbelievable!
