Comments like this make me wonder. If there's one thing that Amare has developed, it's a 15ft-18ft jumper. He has a very good face up game. He can shoot, take guys off the dribble, is a dangerous finisher around the rim, and gets rewarded for aggressiveness with foul calls.

What he hasn't developed yet, is a refined postup game. He really doesn't have much of a back to the basket game and that along with his inconsistancy (read effort level) on the boards and defense are seemingly the only things holding him back from being the best big man in the game.

Hopefully Yao can step up his developement soon, so that we can see these two guys battle competitively for the next 10 years.

Not gonna happen. Yao's weakness (stamina, quickness, defense footwork, etc. )all require proper training in the off-season. He won't have that opportunity due to his commitment to CNT. My optimistic expectation is that he will continue to develop slowly and peak around age of 30.

Even as a homer, I will say Amare is a slice better than Yao right now. Yao's playoff number is decent, but it is nowhere close to Amare's number and more importantly, Amare spread fear among opponents, which Yao hardly does.

Speed and jumping ablilties are on Amare's side but I think that Yao is far more talented than Amare. Watching these five games, it has really shown me that Amare is exactly what I thought he was Shawn Kemp not Hakeem.

If Amare doesn't add a consistent jumper, he'll fade quickly once his quickness leaves him.

I think the suns, dont let Amare post up etc. Thats because, they get there shot of in 10-15 secs most of the time. Amare doesnt have time, to jostle down low. They move alot during offense so posting up will just slow them down. Amare can hit the 15, but its not gold yet. But it will be after this summer.

You gonna be kidding me, the fifth foul called on Amare.

This is a playoff game, Amare is a second team all NBA player and the ref called that foul on him?

Well, they called the same foul on Yao as well, it makes me wonder how much Refs get paid by Cuban and how much Stern want a game 7.

Dirk's a little b****. He blames everyone around him. Has he had a thirty point game in the playoffs yet?

    Nash is amazing!

2 rbs away from another TRIPLE DOUBLE. (one in the last game.)

Dirk is whinning like a baby! He is 0-3 on OT.
