^ You may be correct but at this point there isn't much impetus for Admin. to negotiate with Congress. Its too bad there wasn't a Democractic Congress two years ago...

So if the Chief Executive Office of the US lied before a Grand Jury, you'd want him impeached ... and convicted (admittedly a thinly veiled question about Billary Clinton)?

What did the Jews do to Hitler's Germany? These Islamic fundamentalist nutjobs brought down the Twin Towers and have attempted attacks in Great Britain. Numerous cells have been uncovered here in the US and elsewhere.

No one is tossing out the Constitution-- no more so than inventing a right to privacy to kill unborn children.

Maybe not impeached, but yes! I was very upset and angry @ Clinton for what he did. I would have accepted censure as an acceptable punishment. Certainly losing his law license was correct. What he did was wrong and deserved punishment.

the right doesn't realize that the left doesn't worship clinton like the right does bush. nor does the left have the same blind loyalty for clinton.

    Wrong!

I do remember how tenaciously Clinton the President was defended by those here even when he was proven to have lied before a Grand Jury.

I defend my President and I am the scourge of the world, a threat to the Republic and some kind of idiot.

    I don't think so; it's just politics... :D

I don't recall ever insulting Clinton supporters for supporting Clinton like those same folks insult me and my kind over President Bush.

We should be amused by it not enraged because beer still tastes good (for those who like beer).

the impeachment proceedings were a farce. thats not defending clinton.

you fail to realize that the left never thought clinton was 'left enough'. i certainly dont.

I re-registered in 2002 because I lost my password. I found this place prior to the 2000 NBA draft and registered then as RichRocket-- may still be on the member's list.

I find it amusing that you must feel like I am making things up because you want to delve into my background and try and figure out how much I'm lying based on when I registered.

Are you thorough or what?

Yes, the President of the US seducing some bimbo White House intern for BJs in the Office of the President of the US surely is farcical. Whouda believed it?

I didn't say Left; you did. I said Clinton supporters...

That group still thinks Clinton was impeached for his philandering; he was impeached for lying before a Grand Jury.

So you're saying you care about lying and the rule of law where it regards the president? That is ****ing hilarious.

Let me know when someone in the Administration lies before a Grand Jury. Until then I won't condone your ad hoc justice...

Until someone is convicted, it's just your opinion.

I'm sure that no elected official has ever lied to the people before... another Bush first!

didnt bush lie when he said that nobody could have imagined anyone flying planes into buildings?

didnt bush lie when he said that nobody could have imagined the levies failing?

didnt bush lie when he said they werent wiretapping american citizens?

granted, he wasnt under oath when he told these lies, but it is a fact that he did lie about all 3 of these things.

It wasn't a grand jury but Libby was convicted of lying under oath which is still perjury. Last time I checked Libby was part of the Administration when he did.

It's amusing that you are amused enough to LOL over an oversight of insignificant detail. What's telling is your intention to discredit my comments by questioning my ability to recall what transpired here before.
