What she said was in response to Nick Faldo's joke that the other young golfers should "gang up" on woods. She was trying to complete the joke, and it was definitely politically incorrect and in bad taste.

I'm black as you might have figured. So lynching to me goes along way in my mind than it does in yours. Slavery goes a long way in my mind then it does in yours, racism goes a long way in my mind then it does in yours.

I figure you are not as sensitive to things like that based on what race you may be. With that I have no problem. But please understand that if has a different connotation when through the years lynching and hanging has become synonomous with murderings toward blacks when its a racial issue.

it was not the best choice of words for a tv figure, i admit, but don't make more of it than it really is/was

there are plenty of other legitimate causes you can get behind if you are truly interested in combatting "racism"
