Completely agree. It wasn't as if he just missed shots when he played for Houston in the preseason. He looked like he had Ryan Bowen-like offensive skills as well as a low basketball IQ. Maybe the guy just put too much pressure on himself and psyched himself out.

I knew someone would get him.
We could have had him on our roster if Sura didn't w**** the spot without reason.

Yeah, but it doesn't really matter. JVG would not have played him anyway.

15 pts in 24 minutes so far tonight, but it has been a very high scoring game so far.

I expected the 9 3 pointers from Miller. But not 27 from Stromile.

Not a fit in Houston IMO.

He needs a less structured system.

I didn't see the game, but obviously there wasn't much defensive effort from either team. The Warriors play the worst defense I've seen in several years, which is why you beat them tonight. Any time Stro scores 26 you know something is up.

Mike Miller is a very sick person. He had to be unconscious to hit 9-12 from long range.

These two have really stepped up with the coaching change. Stro has had his best 3 game stretch in his career IMO as far as consistent effort. As they get used to the running game, I think the defense will improve. However, it is impossible to look good defensively at the pace we are playing.

But is it fun to watch? Maybe the team will find it's tempo and play to it.

It was very scary playing you guys, all that freedom on offense and simply playing ball....it was nice to watch.

I think Memphis will improve greatly under Barone, this is a case where an overbearing JVG type of coach (Fratello) was in the way of the team's potential.

    Good luck.

Tell you what - the rockets could really use azubuike the way he's been playing lately. Glad to see he's doing well, though.

    Is he better than Synder?

    Another poor decision by JVG?

Buike is smaller than Kirk I believe... and I think his style of play is more conducive to the way that Golden State runs the offense rather than the Rox. Buike is a very athletic guy and does he best work on a transition offense. In a half court set offense he can do well, but he shines in a fast paced game.
